Course Description:

What better way to kick off an election year than by going back to the beginning.

What was “the shot heard ’round the world?” What were the milestones in the American Revolution? Who were the major players? We’ll look at the women, soldiers and Patriots and the forces pushing towards revolution. How did the colonists pull it off? What does the Declaration of Independence really say?” How do we keep “the American dream” alive?

Class project: Diorama of the Battle of Lexington and Concord.
